The Customer Service Apprenticeship programme is suitable for any individual working in a customer focused role and can be applied to hundreds of roles across many different sectors.  It is relevant for those keen to develop their understanding of customer service right through to those who set and implement the customer service strategy for an organisation.

Apprenticeships are available for new employees and for existing staff who are changing job roles or have new/additional responsibilities.

This apprenticeship trains you to provide excellent customer service, and can be applied to hundreds of job roles across many different sectors. Most customer service apprentices work in retail, financial services, call centres, hospitality, or sport and recreation.

As a customer service apprentice, you’ll need clear and up-to-date knowledge of your organisation’s products and services and be able to communicate with all sorts of people.

Duties will vary between sectors, but in most cases you’ll be making sure that customers are dealt with in a positive, reliable and pleasant way – whether that’s by offering advice, answering questions or handling complaints.
